Hi all, I have been lurking on this board for a couple of weeks and decided to jump in and start posting.
My name is Chelle, I'm 36 yo and the Mom of 3 great kids (11yos, 10yos, and 8yod).
I've never really labeled myself a "vegetarian" because I feel like the second I do, I'll start to crave meat products. If I don't think about it, I can go weeks without meat, but it I do think about what I'm eating(or someone brings it to my attention), then suddenly I'm craving a steak or something.
As for a raw diet......... lately I've been lead to this way of eating! :D I love raw foods.....the flavor and textures.
I'm roughly 75% raw I'd say. I live in Utah (a small city 3hours away from Salt Lake, no less) where good produce is hard to come by (forget about farmers markets and such), the only place to shop is a couple of grocery store chains and a Super Wal Mart. So I take what I can get. :)
Anyway, I've really enjoyed this forum! I look forward to "meeting" you all!
