Bought my Excalibur 9 tray!!

I did it! I bought an Excalibur 9 tray. I wasn't sure if I wanted to spend the money right now, but my boyfriend has decided he would like to join me on the raw journey (at least high raw- not 100% *yet*). We were talking and he told me that he wants to learn how to make raw breads and cookies, and he knew I was already researching dehydrators. I was thinking to start with a cheap dehydrator, but my bf encouraged me to just get the best (and largest) one so we'll get the best results, especially since he wants to experiment with food too :) So, we decided the microwave is going, and the Excalibur will sit in its place!

Hi! I know how excited you are because I got mine last Wednesday and had a chance to use it for the first time over the weekend. I dehydrated some carrots & yams. Not bad, but hey it was my first time. And I also made the banana leather and made the crepes in Alyssa’s book. OH MY!!!!! They were- "make your brains fall out good"! - (better than sex? Well that depends I guess :D) I had company over for dinner and they all feel in love with the crepes. The recipe made 10 crepes and that is exactly how people over for dinner. (I was secretly hoping someone would not want to try them so I would have left overs). I can’t wait to make them again. Good luck and have fun!!
