Hello!
Do any of you have a raw recipe for chia pudding?
I am especially interested in a vanilla pudding or tapioca type pudding using chia instead of tapioca.
Thanks!

These websites have all kinds of recipes, including puddings:

Have you've been using chia seeds for awhile? Noticed any benefits?

I'm still looking for a really good chia pudding recipe. One that resembles tapioca pudding, which I guess would be a vanilla pudding with the chia seeds used instead of the tapioca.
Anyone made this and have a recipe to share?

Ok, here's my really simple, lazy person's chia pudding. In fact, I might even have this tonight!
handful of cashews
2-2 and 1/2 cups of water
1 ripe banana
pinch of celtic salt
2-3 dates
1 cup of chia seeds
fresh vanilla from pod or cinnamon (or both!)
Blend water, cashews and pinch of salt in blender to milk.
At this stage you can also add the banana and blend this, but I usually mash it up to give a nice texture.
Put milk into bowl and add chia seeds and vanilla, stir in and leave for ten minutes or more.
Chop dates and sprinkle on top, sprinkle cinnamon powder over chia too.
Eat, yum!

Super simple chia pudding
2 tbsp chia
1 cup almond milk
Put into a jar. Shakey shake. Put into refridgerator overnight.
Stir and eat. I like to put fresh mango in mine. Yum!!

My favorite :)
Chia Raisin Pudding (think rice pudding) - from another website
1/2 cup almond milk
1 Tablespoon chia seeds
1 Tablespoon dried shredded coconut
2 Tablespoons raisins
1 Tablespoon honey or agave
2-3 drops vanilla extract
Put all ingredients in a jar. Screw on the lid and shake every few minutes until it starts to gel. If the chia clumps, break it up by stirring. Put in fridge. Ready to eat in 30 minutes. Will keep in the fridge for several days.
Shortcut: Instead of almond milk, use 1 Tablespoon almond butter and 1/2 cup water.

Hope I remember this correctly, but here it goes.....
Chia Tapioca Pudding
1 cup soaked cashews
3 cups water
2 (or more) T of agave
1 T pure vanilla extract
1 tsp almond extract
1/4 cup chia
Blend cashews and water until smooth, then add the next three ingredients on list and blend again. Lastly, add the chia and mix well. Top with sprinkling of cinnamon and chill overnight.
Even the SAD eaters in my family swear it tastes like the "real" thing.

Where can you buy chia seeds? I hear people say they are good just by the spoon and in recipes and read about ordering on line, but does a place like Whole Foods sell them?
I never knew about them when I was there, so never looked for them.

Hi Sidrah, I bet Whole Foods has them. It's worth tracking them down and learn to incorporate them into the diet.

Hey Raw Friends,
I'm eager to share my first original chia recipe with you!
-2 cups of apple juice, in my case I was using those small local apples and it took four of them. I just whizzed them up in the Vitamix and strained them, very easy.
-4 Tablespoons of chia seeds.
-1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla.
- 2 mangoes, flesh from. Try one of each variety!
Stir! Let sit for at least one hour, or over night so that you have a breakfast pudding waiting for you.
I'm open to suggestions on how to improve this recipe!!
