Dry skin brushing question

I went out 2day and got one made of catus fibers, I have just done one over my back quite lightly.. my back is now red raw.. I just wanna know if am causing any damage to it by making it red raw, if not how long till I start to see some results...

Red raw is never good so maybe you should start off with a milder one. I used the gentle one for at least a year before moving on to the harder one. Regarding seeing effects. I have to say that I have never seen anything but as it is for my lymphatic system I did not know what to expect and just have to believe that it is doing me good.
I do not do my face but I do my neck as I expect that there are lymph nodes there.
