Hi Everyone,
So happy to find this place. I am a vegan who is seriously looking into becoming a raw food person. I am trying to do as much research as I can before embarking completely so that I don't jeopardize my health or spend money unnecessarily. Well any ideas that any one has...i.e. best books to buy, please let me know :)
Thanks

Aloha and Welcome to RFT!! I'm so glad you have joined us -- this is an amazing forum and I do hope you enjoy it!! There is so much great information here --and lots of support too!

as far as books... By FAR... ALISSA'S LIVING ON LIVE FOODS has helped me the most. There is so much information contained in that book .... but it's written in such an easy style... like your just having a conversation with Alissa... and all this wisdom comes pouring out....!!!

In fact - Alissa's book and her DVD were the two most important tools I had to help me transition to the raw LIFEstyle and really enjoy this VIBRANT life!!

rawk on -- enjoy the ride!

I have alot of books that I really like on raw food but the #1 book is Alissa's and be sure to get the DVD also. When you finish her book you'll know all the in's and out's of going raw. If you only buy one raw food book it would be her's because it's everything you need to know in one book.

Morn I just saw your year long progress and you certainly gave me the inspiration to go on. Although I have been vegan and thought raw would be next logical step...I had no idea how difficult it would be for me. I feel like all sorts of emotions have been brought up. Today was especially difficult feeling nauseated and lacking in energy. I am truly thankful for the posts to keep me going.
Thanks everyone
