I was at Borders the other day and was going through all the Raw cookbooks. I came across Juliano's Raw recipe book. I wrote down the ingredients for the House Dressing recipe, bought all the ingredients, and then by mistake, through the recipe away.

I was looking forward to having a huge salad with this dressing tonight, but I can't find it anywhere on the internet (in detail)?

Does anyone have the cookbook? Would you mind posting it?

Thank you,

Cheri

I remember his comment on that, it's something like "This dressing is so good people order it as a soup in my restaurant".

I actually never made the recipe tough.

Methinks 1/3 C minced garlic and 2 T. minced garlic might be a bit much.

methinks 1.5 cups of olive oil for a dressing that serves four is too much!!! (can you imagine eating that as a soup??? its practically like a liver cleanse!!!)

when i got juliano's book i made this dressing and loved the taste, but that much olive oil wreaked pure havoc with my digestion... i felt nasty.

now i make it with .5 cups oil and 1 cup water, and keep the rest the same. its great!

That's a good idea Maui Butterfly, thing is for me...well I HATE water in dressings, I think it tastes absolutely discusting. So I actually keep the measurements the same, my trick however is just use less. I don't need a lot of dressing.

Fortunately I was raised in a family that taught the non-drowning method for salads. We were actually taught to enjoy the taste of the salad and use dressing as a sort of flavor picker upper boost. (not sure if that makes sense...) Anyway, I think that 1.5 cups of oil for 4 people....well....I feel like that would last me two weeks if I ate salad EVERY DAY. (more than once most likely)
