Hi. :) Is there any way we can add a feature in the blogging section that indicates when someone leaves a comment in an old post? Tonight I was reading through old posts looking for one particular blog and noticed a lot of messages I didn't know existed. :o

Pretty please? (bats eyelashes);)
With goji berries on top???

I agree with this request. Actually, it would be nice if the blogging system treated each post separate.. if you go into your control panel for the blog it shows "xxx" views and "xxx" comments and thats for the whole thing.

I emailed Alissa to offer my services (free of charge) for making this forum better (cool new functions and stuff that would be beneficial). I'm an I.T. admin and web design / programming is one of my skills... but she hasn't gotten back to me yet

Gosh, I hope that didn't sound like a complaint. I think it's awesome to have this forum, I just felt really bad that I didn't answer those comments. Just didn't know they were there.

That's a good idea, hopefully she'll take you up on your offer. ( : She is super busy though.

LOL! Well, the only "power that be" that could give such an authorization or honor such a request IS Alissa herself...she's the one who has to get with and pay her web guy to make changes to the forum, etc. There may already be such a feature that is just disabled...don't know.

But you may want to write (and keep writing if you don't get an answer the first time) the office or call. I've seen suggestions that were made both here and via email to Alissa's office come to pass such as the Raw Young People's (not kids) section.

maybe something like when you reply to a thread it automatically bumps it to the top of page 1. i am another another forum (not a rawfood one) and when you post a comment to a thread, no matter how old it is, it automatically bumps to the top of the first page so others can see that someone commented on it.

Ummm...that happens here too...in fact, most message boards do that...when a post is replied to (no matter how old) it gets bumped up.
