Ok...there is a pretty good health food store that is about a 45 minute drive from me. I am going to try and make a once-a-month trip there for stocking up. Sure beats paying shipping charges when ordering. I have found some of the things you need for a raw diet can be on the heavier side for shipping. I ordered some Almond Butter and it cost almost as much as the butter cost to ship it.
So, these are the things on my list for today. Please tell me if there is something important I am missing that is considered a staple in a raw diet:
Almond Butter
Raw Carob Powder
Wheat Berries
Raw Nuts
Figs
Sesame Seeds
Fresh Ginger
Whole flax seeds
Oat Groats
I will also check out their organic produce while I'm there, but I know I can't buy a whole months worth as it will spoil before I can use it. But, if I can eat organic for at least two weeks of the month, that's not too bad.
