skin problems. help?

can you guys recommend some skincare products/solutions that work well in conjuncture with someone first going raw? yes, im breaking out like a mad woman. even products/solutions that simply help with unevenness is helpful.

typically, i have to moisturize a lot in the wintertime. this coinciding with the detox of eating raw has produced a lot of extra oil in my face & extra blemishes. :confused:

Google the oil cleansing method, and oil pulling. When it comes to skin, it's all about oil!

Also, if you are not already drinking green smoothies, those can help make it so that you detox, er, out places other than your skin.

The best way is from the inside out. If you have a juicer, try juicing 3 cucumbers, 1 apple with a hint of lemon. Very calming to the skin. Also, washing with coconut oil and moisturizing with msm lotion has worked wonders for my skin. Good luck. ( :

Personally, while detoxing I feel like colon cleansing helped my skin a lot by making sure all the toxins were getting out. If skin is breaking out, I believe it is because your other organs, such as liver and bowels, are overloaded and the skin is helping out with the elimination of toxins. I did colonics as much as my budget could afford and also enemas and implants of wheatgrass juice during a cleanse. Also drank 4 oz. of wheatgrass per day. Wheatgrass is extremely detoxing and healing. I had a lot of skin problems on the SAD, but it is 99% clear now.
