My 5 tray Excalibur just arrived!!!!!

I have two packs of raw oats and thought a raw cereal type bar would be a good way of using them up.

Does anyone have a recipe - preferably not with raisins (but I can always leave them out).

I like the idea of something fairly simple such as oats, grated apple and sunflower seeds but how would everything 'stick' together and not fall apart in the dehydrator?

Thanks.

Check out this link for a biscotti receipe. I put in raisins instead of cranberries and added goji berries, walnuts and 3/4 cup soaked ground flax (with water, that is what held mine together)
Mine came out more like granola bars but are very good.

Banana Cookie Bar

2 cups raw oats
2 cups raisins
1 cup nuts (walnuts or pecans)
1/2 c ground flax seeds
2 very ripe bananas
a touch of cinnamon and salt if you want
about 3 T agave nectar

Blend everything in food processor. Form dough into square loaf and slice loaf into bars. Dehydrate overnight if you can wait that long to eat them.

Thanks. These both look good. I now have ground flax so that's useful.
