New in San Fernando Valley

I just heard about the raw diet, and was instantly hooked! I am in the San Fernando Valley area of CA. I would like to know of any cool stores and restaurants that cater to this diet.
Also, what are your absolute favorite foods?

Welcome! you will not only find much support here, but great warmth as well. I once lived in Canoga Park, Reseda, and Northridge. I've been gone for many years, but three of my children were born in Northridge Hospital.
Right now my favorite foods are the green blended smoothies that I have every morning. It basically consists of an orange, banana, 2 T. ground flax, fist full of spinach and a lot of ice. YUMMY!

Well, most of the "cool" restaurants are on the westside. Don't know of any in your/our area actually. One of the most famous is Juliano's. RawTruth and I recently visited Taste of the Goddess which is just over the hill. Take Laurel Canyon to ummm, whatever street it's on ~ I think Santa Monica, turn left and there ya go! Leaf is over in Santa Monica also. I don't know if the Lighthouse is still doing raw dinners or not.
