Hi Everybody. I have a rather embarassing question. One of my goals in reclaiming myself is to continue my pursuit of education. I have finished my bachelor's but now I wish to pursue a Master's program. But I am having a bit of a brain freeze. I need to write an essay that explains why I choosing this particular field of study. I've basically written the paper but (here comes the embarassing part) I don't know how to "frame" it correctly. I don't know what sort of heading I should put on the paper. Should I frame it like a letter to the administrators of admissions? I know I'm freezing up cause I'm nervous but if anyone has any pointers, I'm all ears! Thank you so much.

if they asked for a letter, frame it as a letter. if they asked for an essay, just give it a title and a date and your name! :)
i hope that helps!?!?! good luck!

authenticme, i would tell your story - maybe start off with a personal tidbit about your decisions to pursue the degree and what you want to achieve - you could title it: Authentic Me!
I know that's not helpful (the last part) but don't get bogged down in the details - if you really want to do the degree, your desire will come through in your essay.

LOL. See it's that kind of matter of factual information that I need. Honestly, I think my brain freeze is nerves. It just shows how important this is to me, I suppose.
