[edit: i posted pictures here- http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/showthread.php?t=37953 ]

i'm so happy about that. 3 months doesnt sound like that long. i feel like i've been raw for way longer than that. but i'm so happy about it.

what has raw done for me in these 3 months?

* i dont have headaches/occular migraines anymore

* i've lost 34 lbs

* i have tons more energy

* my mind has cleared

* i'm a happier person in general

* no more mood swings

* not irritable anymore

* i'm not depressed

* i've gotten closer to God

* i have a much better appreciation for life and living

* i'm not as lazy. (give me a little slack, it's the middle of the winter. there's nothing to do!)

* i feel a overwhelming love for myself and others

* my hair is softer and shiner, no longer dull. it's back to my natural color again.

* my skin is clear

* my eyes are whiter

* i dont binge eat

* i dont starve myself

* i dont have joint pains

* my body doesnt ache

* no more heartburn

i cant think of anything else, but i'm sure there's more. i was so unhealthy before i went raw. i'm never going back to that again. this is my life now, and i'm so blessed to have found it.

I was doing so good prior to christmas, then I fell off the wagon and I am finding it hard to get baack on and stick with it.
I am really happy for you. I want to be you..lol...well not really, but you know what I mean.

update: i weighed today and i lost more weight than i thought. i've lost a total of 37 lbs. i'm at the lowest weight i've been in at least 10 years. this is also the lowest weight i've ever seen on the scale. so when i lose more, i'll be in unknown territory. that's a little scary but i'm so excited about it! oh and i'm also past my halfway point to my goal! i want to lose 36 more lbs. that seems like nothing now, i feel like i can see light at the end of the tunnel. it's no longer 70, or even 50 lbs. i can do this!

everything about this post is beautiful. i am pretty inspired by you. are you exercising to accompany yr raw diet?

i have been exercising but not as much as i should. i hate working out on machines. i'd rather be outside doing physical things like hiking and biking. but it's winter here and i dont like being out in the cold, so i dont have much choice. i've been pretty good about working out 3-5 days a week for the past month but otherwise i was only working out sporadically.

and another thing i had that i dont anymore is chest pains. i would get them every so often. they were terrible and scary! but i dont get them anymore. and i'm also sleeping way better than i ever had. and i'm not having trouble breathing at night either. that was really scary too. when i would lay on my back i could hardly breathe. i could feel the weight crushing me.

when i think about these things it really makes me realize how unhealthy i was. these were all things that i delt with daily and just accepted them as daily living and didnt know any better. im never going back to that. and not to mention, i'm only 22! i felt when i went raw it was do or die. this really has been a life saver for me.

thanks for the feedback everyone. it's really nice to hear that others can see what i've done/am doing and be inspired.

Hi! I looked at your photos, and then read this post. I am so happy for you!
It is just amazing how much can change in such a short time! It's taking a bit longer for me, but I'm twice your age, so twice as much work to do!
RAWK ON!!!!!
