I can't believe I have been raw for over a year and just had my first raw pizza today! I've always wanted to try it, but I usually just eat what I am craving at the moment so if I wanted pizza, I didn't want to wait 2 days. Anyway, last night, I was making onion bread and I thought I would just go ahead and throw on some cheese, sauce and veggies. (Well, the crust dehydrated over night and then I put on the toppings and dehydrated more) Oh my gosh! I have been missing out! I can't wait to play around with different crusts and toppings. What are your favorite combinations??
PS. Go figure, the kids thought it was gross!

First raw pizza, but not the last!! ;)
Raw pizza is indeed delicious - I always make up a double batch of crusts and store them in case I want crackers, pizza, or nachos/tacos. That way if I want something like that, I just whip up the topping in the fp and I don't have to wait 2 days for the crust to be ready :)
My daughter doesnt care for onion bread. I use Alissa's calzone crust recipe for pizza crust. I do change the seasonings to more italian ones. I also use Alissa's cheese and marinara recipe. My daughter likes veggies pizzas but I remember someone posting about using eggplant bacon and pineapple which sounds soooo yummy. Sometimes instead of marinara I will just slice tomatoes on the cheese and top with diced avocado. You could also try spinach and cheese instead of marinara. Thats whats great about raw...so many options and so much fun playing with your food.
