I'm sure someone has asked this before, but I couldn't find it when I did a search. I am looking to buy a dehydrator. I would like one that is affordable and also of good quality, so if anybody has a recommendation, I would greatly appreciate it.

Ohhh yeaaahhhh! It's been asked. Do the search only, instead of "just" dehydrators, put in some name such as Excalibur and any others you can think of. Mind just went blank. Need food. :)

Nesco, Ronco, L'equip, American Harvest just to name a few! I have the l'equip and I really like it. Check on ebay, you might find good prices.

Hmmm...yes, there have been quite a few discussions on various dehydrators, even homemade ones. When I went to the search box and typed in "dehydrators", I came up with quite a few threads on the topic:
