I wanted a juicer that would juice fruit, veggies, greens, make nut butters, fruit ice-creams AND juice WHEATGRASS!

Someone told me that if I have a machine that does it all (such as the Samson) that everything I make will taste like wheatgrass. Is this true???

I don't believe it. When I make wheatgrass juice with mine, I can't believe how clean it stays. It barely needs a nice rinse to clean it - no green staining on anything. So don't worry IMHO.

Thanks Tirza for your feedback. Do you have a Samson? Or some other kind of juicer that does both wheatgrass, fruit, veg, etc.

RawLoveBaby,

My journey into all this has been progressive, so I have a Champion which I use mostly for carrot juice every day. I do have to deal with moister pulp, but it is faster, so I am still in the habit of using it. Besides, the Samson has a smaller feed chute, so I would have to cut up my carrots a bit thinner for that. One thing or another, eh?

I got the Samson especially so I could get an attachment that makes oils from Hemp, Sesame and Flaxseed. The attachment comes from England and is a bit pricey so I haven't actually bought it yet, but hope to soon. I'm HOPING it works well. (Otherwise I likely would have wanted to get a twin gear juicer)

But that's not all, folks... I also have a manual regular juicer and a manual wheatgrass juicer plus a manual and an electric citrus juicer. (and an old Acme in the cupboard)

Am I a gadget freak? You guessed it. ;)

I've made wheatgrass juice in my Green Star and the flavor doesn't stay at all after rinsing. This is not an issue whatsoever, and I have made a lot of ice cream with it also.

No, it isn't.

This is good news! I was hoping it wouldn't make everything taste like wheatgrass. Now, I'm just having a trouble deciding between the Samson, Omega 8003/8005, or possibly the Greenstar. They all seem so similar to me. Except that the Greenstar is more expensive.
