I was looking up raw delivery services online last night and I was wondering if anyone has ever tried one and could give me some feedback on it. I was most interested in Rawvolution at www.rawvolution.com. It seemed like it had the most amount of food and its offered weekly with different menus each week. I live in Santa Barbara and it is based in Los Angeles so the food would have to shipped Fed-Ex overnight. Is that safe shipping raw food? Does the food keep for the whole week?

Hi - You might want to send an email to Catherethegreat. She was going to try it at one point. She's been inactive on the forum lately, but I have no doubt she'd respond to a direct query from you. Even though I live in the great LA area, I don't know anyone personally who's used Matt's service.

If you do get it, be sure to post on here how your experience was!

I am really interested in this too, if you find out any more info, please keep us posted.

Any ideas how much it costs?

:)

I was told that matts service at rawvolution for him to fed ex it overnight to me in the Santa Barbara area would be around $45. This estimate could be off though. At healingforbliss.com it is $75. I have also read about some that are around $100. I think im going to give it a try. Whats the worst that can happen

My hubby called them last night and to upstate New york the shipping would be $175!!!!!!!!

The food is only $100 (quite a good price I thought).

There's no way I can pay that kind of shipping costs.

Does anyone know of anyone is NYC that does this kind of service?

thanks

Try www.rawlifeline.com
I haven't ordered from them but I've bought their food from a health food store that orders from them. I've tried the Carob Mousse Pie and Pizza. Both were good!

YiPPEEEEEeeee thank you RawYogini! You have made my day, they are only in PA and I am in NY, so they are super close!

This (i hope) will help me & hubby so much, as brekky and lunches we are fine on (we have smoothies and salads), but at night we want something more substantial, and all our attempts to make dehyrated food tastes yukky!!!! So we wanted to buy some good food!

YAY! I am so excited as this will help us go 100% raw! YAY to superhealth!!!

YAY for RawYogini!

YAYYYY

Do I sound overly excited?

:)

Hi
I have ordered several times for Ravolution in Santa Monica. Especially when I first went raw in March because I wanted to try as many tastes and textures as possible. It is $100.00 per week plus shipping or you can drive to his store and pick up, he makes the stuff on Mondays so for me it meant I hit LA traffic comings home the 101 FWY. Matt was charging me and a friend $ 20.00 to deliver by car here in Camarillo and the food would often get here at midnight, sometimes I would wake up and find it on the porch. While it was good and I liked most things made they just didn't last that long (probably because of the shipping) and sometimes would spoil before I would get to eat it within a few days. Same with my friend.

Ashabean,
Glad I could help! Please post reviews of the food as you order it and I'll do the same. I ALMOST bought their coconut pie and raw hummus last weekend at my health food store, but I was in the middle of a 5 day no-fat raw food fast so I abstained. It was torture! Anyway, everything looks so good on their website - can't wait to experiment some more. RawY
