Since being diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) two years ago, my search to improve my health has finally brought me to the raw food diet. I've been juicing since 1/1/08 and been somewhat raw most of that time. Tough transition when you live with a family of carnivors.

When my son was going through cancer treatment, my search also brought me to the raw food diet. That was almost 4 years ago and we are loving this way of life! Welcome!

A former NYer here, Queens.
The City may be far for you, but there are restaurants there as well as support groups. Maybe try meetup.com to see if there are raw groups who gather for "pot" lucks which I call rawlucks here in CO where I lead group.
Best to you.

Thanks! I'm very excited about the raw world. It makes all too much sense to me. Thank you for the YouTube link too! I just enjoy all the flavors of the foods. I've mastered making nut milk! I love it! I'm also growing my own sprouts! Hopefully wheat grass soon!
