Hi Fellow Rawbies, It's been a while since I posted a recipe, but it is 20 below zero here right now so we wanted something warm & spicy.
Creamy Spicy Broccoli & Greens Soup
OK, I'm not good with measuring but these are approx.
2-3 cups broccoli
2-3 TBSP Amond Butter
squirt of honey/agave
curry powder, maybe a tbsp or 2
cayenne, about 1/2 tbsp
1/2 large Jalapena pepper~seeds & all :D much needed for the warmth factor
cumin~1 -2 tbsp
sea salt to taste
1/2 lemon juiced
1 avocado
slice of onion, about 2 -3 tbsp
large handful of romaine, could use kale or even spinach
filtered water
Blend in Vita-mix ( maybe could do in a Food Processor if you don't have a Vita-mix) Heat on stove until 100 degrees stirring constantly. Place in warmed bowls & you won't believe how warm you will feel.
Warning, this is spicy !
Enjoy!

If you like spicy, you'll love this. Seems Jalapena are becoming my best friend this winter:D

Alicia, I am trying to incorporate as many greens into everyhting I make to give me more nutrients. It's like the green smoothie concept~except with soup instead!
Thanks for the compliments about the jewelry. We've been adding to our Shop (Twisted Crystal) site all day & I'll soon be adding more to Raw Jewelrylady.
I sure appreciate the positive feedback.:)

Lana,
At your website, the picture of your before and now picture are incredible. http://rawjewelrylady.com/
I'm trying to figure out how I ended up with $75 worth of beads as first time, after meeting a woman at show who promised me visits to her house so that I can copy her gorgeous bracelet. Here I am with the beads and no bracelet near completion of knowing how too. It's a year plus now.
I think Pam and I am eventually getting together and going to see if she perhaps would love to make one of our visits a "jewelry" date. It will keep us both away from the food, but as a great guest she can also enjoy some raw foods here.
Congratulations. What a beautiful, radiant smile too.
