ok. I'm very good at SAD cooking but not very good at uncooking. Here's a list of what I have. It would be very kind if someone can give me some good ideas what to do with it.

cacao nibs
agave
almonds
raisins
coconut oil
tomatoes
carrots
ginger
apples
pears
plums
tangerines
raw hemp granola
strawberries
blueberries
plums
avocados
young coconut
mango
lemon

i'm going to the market to pick up some spinach as well.

not very good at uncooking YET!!!! don't worry, its kind of a process, but you'll get there if you keep hacking away at it.its kind of fun to start from scratch and learn again. i've tossed out a few NASTY nut pates or soups while learning. you just have to laugh and keep trying!

here's my ideas for your ingredients

breakfast "cereal": diced apples, raisins, almonds, a sprinkle of raw hemp granola, pour over coconut mylk (juice and pulp from one young coconut, add water and some agave and a dash of sea salt and blend), sprinkle the whole thing with cinnamon and consume lustily!

carrot-ginger-apple-raisin salad (splash with agave and add chopped mint if you have it)

tomato-avocado salsa: toss with diced onion, 1 clove garlic, a bit of lemon juice, some sea salt, cilantro if you have it - i eat this with zucchini slices in place of chips

once you get some greens like spinach, you can make lots of green smoothies with greens and fruit (ratio of about 40% greens to 60% fruit) -- some people add cacao and/or coconut oil. you might want to pick up some bananas unless you don't like them, i think they make the best smoothie base.

i'm not much of a dessert person, but it looks like you have lots of good dessert ingredients (i think most "crusts" are made with dates and almonds, etc., while cacao and/or fruits and agave can form the pie filling... but again, someone else can better advise you!) my friend makes a wonderful chocolate pudding with just avocado, cacao, and agave. its to die for!

i like just reading other people's recipes, even if i don't have the ingredients, because it gives me ideas and rough estimates of quantities/ratios for the next time i go shopping...

most importantly -- have fun learning something new!

see you around the boards...

Of course my mind runs to the sweets!

You could make raw cacao fudge: cacao, coconut oil, agave (add some almonds if you like)

raw cacao pudding: cacao, avocado, agave

green smoothies: spinach and whatever of those fruits you like with a little water in the blender

*maui's ideas are great, too.

Have fun!
