I just saw the infomercial again for The Bean, it totally impressed me all over again!

It's like a physioball you lay on that supports your head/neck, with stability, as well as having something that goes under it for strength training!

Anyone with back problems, balancing-on-a-ball difficulties, extra weight
(they even have a plus size one, called "The Elite", it holds up to 800 lbs, with handles, & is wider, & made stronger...the regular one has been tested for up to 400 lbs...)
would definately benefit from using it...reading the FAQ's & the testimonies are very informative...it even helps those with cerebral palsy, those who've had back surgeries, etc. & is recommended by physiotherapists & chiropractors.

I want to order one soooo much! I'm goona find a way!!! When I do, I'll make room for it by getting rid of my stepper, should be able to walk more by then, so won't need it!

If you want to check it out, here ya go... www.bean.com :)

It's good for use with Pilates & yoga, as well...they have videos on the site demonstrating the different things you can do with it, & a DVD & chart of the workout comes with it 9as well as some other things...)

They even have a 30 day trial, money-back guarantee, INCLUDING original shipping costs, AND the cost to return it to them!!!

Right now it's free shipping, (in the US) (it wasn't last time)...to see the different deals/sizes, etc. click on "Buy Now" & a page with the different package deals comes up!

If you try it out, let us know how you like it!!!

Well...I just sent my bean back. I wasn't thrilled with it like I thought I'd be.
It was VERY noisy (a loud, rubber squeaky sound) when used with the pulley thingie underneath and unless you have a carpet, you wouldn't want to use it on bare floor because of the noise.

It can be quite difficult to reach around and grab the handles once you're on it.

My suggestion would be this if you're thinking of getting one:
Just get the bean elite without the other part that goes underneath. Make sure you use it on carpet. And I suppose like anything else, if you work it, it'll work for you. If you don't, it won't. I didn't feel like it was doing much when I tried it but maybe I should have given it more time.

I'm thinking of joining curves again as soon as I'm financially able. Seemed to work for me before.

I'm sort of interested in the Ab Rocket. For people like me, whose neck kills them after doing ab crunches, this looks pretty good -- also that it can assist with pilates exercises. Any thoughts on this one?
