New dehydrator in the works

Actually, its making its debut Tuesday. I finally gathered all my pennies together and bought the nine tray Excalibur. My Gardenmaster does some things okay but not to my liking. Two to three days to dry flax crackers is a bit much and they are still mushy towards the center (where the hole is) of the disc. Then when turning them over a lot of the food sticks to the sheet. Well, I've had enough and I want to do much more than crackers .. so I ordered a new one. How ironic that my piggy bank savings was $10.00 over what I paid for it :D ... tax is another story!

I'm so excited ..... better uncooking with raw foods;)

Congrats you will love the new dehydrator. I use to use to use my oven on the warm setting but that was to much work, I had to keep watching the temp to make sure it stayed under 110 but now I trust the Excalibur to do the job...
