Hashimoto's and Raw??

Hello Everyone,

I know a while back there was a woman on the forum who had a slow thyroid and by eating raw , had healed her thyroid. It was a great story.

I was wondering if anyone with Hashimoto's has had the same healing? I was just diagnosed and i'm on synthroid, i'm pregnant. I was very blessed because I was able to be regulated in one month.

So, I would like to go back to raw, probably this spring, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had any luck with Hashimoto's.

Hi Laura,

I can't say I've healed my thyroid but whatever part of it is still working is working at maximum capacity because of raw food living.

I've been able to go off lots of supplements and don't have any of the muscle/joint pain associated with Hashimoto's and my various autoimmune indicators are back to normal levels.

Ok, so pregnant and raw...here I come!! LOL I'm actually going to feed this little one raw too. ;)
