I heard great thing about that etc... and especially Dr. Ann Wingmore pushing the benefit of this great juice. Apparently if we have problem to consume it is that we are the one that need it the most. So i must be one of them.
I got no problem with dandellion, kale, all kind of greens but wheat grass give me nausea.
Anyone having the same problem?
I preparred a glass last night and could drink it so i saved it for the morning. I manage to drink it with no problem. Now 3 hours after, i am having nausea again. I made it with 5 apples, one lemon which gave a good taste.
The good news is that it really cut all cravings or hunger and i am not hungry, just having nausea.
Any hints or advices?????

Throw up? :p
O.k., well, that sounds harsh yet, maybe that's what you need to do. WG is a cleanser.
Maybe, drink it slower as in sip it; don't drink it on an empty stomach; drink an ounce alone by swishing it in your mouth for a minute or so before swallowing, then drink the other juices sloooooly....

I had wheatgrass for a year - two three times a week, it helped me to loose weight, my eye sight improved, my skin cleared but - i also had very strong side effects - tremendous mood swings ( probably due to detox) but it was unbearable. I was very depressed, could cry for no reason and in this department felt extremely miserable. I stop.
It could be detox, allergy or allergy to molds. I will not try untill i will detox more without it and give it a try again in the future.

Ann Wigmore said that you should always swish the wheatgrass around in your mouth for 2 min to let it mix with your saliva properly, helps with digestion and that many people experience nausea if they just bolt it down.
I've done that and it worked fine for me. She was also a stickler about not mixing wheatgrass with other juices, that you would get more benefits from drinking it straight, but I 've also had it with vegetable juice, like beets and carrots and stuff, and I didn't 'swish' it then.

Sometimes you will experience nausea with WG because it really begins to clear toxins immediately. If you feel nausea it's a good sign it's working in my opinion. Over time, you more than likely will not experience it as you continue drinking it.
Last year when I first introduced WG into my daily routine, I experienced the same thing when I started using it to rebuild my cells after my accident. No matter if I swished or drank it like a straight shot, the immediate nausea I experienced upon ingesting it was bad for about a week and then I was fine. Again I attribute this to major detoxification of my body. I was on a lot of prescription pain medication prior to healing myself and they really messed with my organs and systems. Now I have up to 3-5 oz per day in the morning with no problems.

I recently read where if you grow wg in dirt at home, you have a higher risk of also growing mold, which will make you sick. Something else interesting I read and would love comments on was wg grown indoors grows at a faster rate than outdoors and therefore contains much more sugar and carbs than the outdoor type. I should proably stop reading everything I google :D
I've been taking frozen wg in my morning smoothie, haven't been ill, too soon too tell if it is helping yet.
I hope it works out for you, good luck

I had 2 ozs of WG yesterday and was sick to my stomach. It passed after 1/2 hour, but it was pretty bad. I think that as someone said my body is detoxing in a big way. I've done alot of damage to my body, abusing pain killers and sleeping aids over the years. I will continue to consume it, but I find myself getting really emotional too. I know that my life is seeking a balance and it will cause alot of old hurt that I attempted to stuff down with sleeping aids to come to the surface.
Healing is so wonderful!

I had some nausea as well but I do believe it's detoxing our bodies. I have heard about the mold as well so that could be an issue but I also thought I heard it was not harmful. I'll have to do more research on this.

Oh mye, thank you so much for all the great replies. Ok, i will keep the faith with the wheat grass. I got another pack in the fridge and will juice it again and try to swish like you recommended me.
I have been 100% raw for one year now, but i know i do have quite a bit of toxin left in me. I am reading the new book of Matt Monarch "Raw success" and i like some research that he has done and shares in his book. He is mentioning also about the hair loss which could be cause by toxic gaz etc... Every symptoms he mentioned are related to me due to toxin.
I didn't realize that the nausea could me detoxing and it makes perfect sense now when i think about it.
Thank you for the tips and sharing your experiences, it is helping me greatly.
