Hi - Is it possible tpo make marinara sauce WITHOUT dates.. i really want to make the raw spaghetti/ pasta meal.. ive recieved the spiraliser today to spiralise the corguette and have all the ingredients for the marinara sauce im making EXCEPT for the dates.. i have none that i think are raw.. im pretty sure they aren't raw. Unfortunately i have n other dried fruit to replace it. Are there any marinara sauces out there that dont require dates or dried fruit? The only dried fruit i have which i know is raw are sundried tomoatoes as im going to dehyrate them in the excaliber myself!! :)

i'm pretty sure the dates are used to give it just a hint of sweetness, so you can use some raw honey, raw agave or stevia. whichever you have and prefer. i made a raw marinara sauce a while ago and didn't use dates, i just added a little agave (i think thats what i had on hand, if not it was honey, raw of course). good luck
