Hello everyone. I have been raw for 6 days. I haven't a dehydrator YET and no blender but I am sticking to this. I am in detox. Was a bear yesterday.
Well I guess that is all I have to report. I just wanted to contribute a little. Anybody out there in the Buffalo NY area?

Hey girls...welcome to this wonder filled way of eating. I could not do this without my blender...so you may want to consider all of the many great ways you can easily consume fruits and veggies that is both tasty and satisfying. Good luck!

I agree........I love making smoothies with my blender. My children are always talking about the "funny" color of the smoothies, but they taste great. I am going to invest in a dehydrator next, so I can make some of the wonderful recipes I keep reading about.

Good for you Shanna Hosanna and Migrou!
Your great attitudes will really help. I am about 40ish days raw, and I have had ups and downs. I am still very committed to feeding my body live food. In fact I am even more excited about it now. I am feeling the new clarity everyone talks about.
My vitamix is a Godsend! I have had it 5 years and always did use it weekly, but now I use it daily. Today I am going to experiment with making soup in it.
I am sure any blender at all would be a great help to you.
Blessings to you,
Terri

Thanks for the encrouagement. I made a gritty banana and soaked cashew pudding tonight with cut up mangos. Wasn't bad but I sure wish it were smooth. The only food processor I have is from walmart ($12) and it doesn't know the meaning of smooth.
You made me smile Heather. Continuing to RAWK baby!

This detox thing is so odd isn't it? My head feels heavy and I am having trouble thinking and for someone who is happy go lucky I am totally off . . . not able to thandle much criticism right now. I get irritated VERy easily. So strange for me. I am wondering when it will end. I almost gave in while out a little bit ago. The grocery store had this nasty looking last avocado and I wasn't buying that and i was hungry and almost went to BK to justify a veggie burger but instead I got a raw salad to bring home. I am happy with myself. One day down the rest of my life to get healthy!
