My cat is drinking my green smoothie!!

Hahaha! I set the mug down next to me while I'm on the Internet and he jumped up on the table and started slurping it down. He was really enjoying it. I'd just added my first T of flaxseed oil to experiment with the taste. If it's good enough for my finicky 17 yr old cat, Merlin, it's good enough for me.

It couldn't possibly hurt him if I decide to share a little on a regular basis, could it? It seems like it would only be beneficial.

That reminds me of one time my cat ate a piece of broccoli that I placed on the floor. I was so excited that she would actually eat veggies!!!!

Cats actually eat grass. I've read why somewhere, but don't remember now. And I've seen my cats go out and nibble on grass during the summer. So I think the occasional sharing of the smoothie wouldn't hurt. :)

my little one loves fruits and vegetables, too. avocado seems to be her favorite, i always have to give her one of the skins to clean out when i open one around her or she steals it from me. :) big cat doesn't care for them, he's always interested in my food but then turns his nose up at it.

Me too! I sat mine down on the counter the other day and when I came back my cat was drinking away. Why should we have all the fun?
