Here is some food I made yesterday. Just thought I'd share (hopefully these will make you want to make the recipes, not steer you away! It is Carrot Cake from "Living in the Raw", Coconut Caramel cookies (what's left, they seem to disappear) from "Living Cuisine" ,your basic coconut/almond/date roll, marinated portabella w/basil, and sprouted quinoa tabouli (I like a lot of parsley).

I don't think my camera skills are that great. The Carrot cake is awesome. I think the secret is the raisin and psyllium. I posted the recipe for the unbelievable cookies already. I try to pick 3 new recipes on my days off to make. I'll share them as I move along (I know these are not brain surgery recipes but what the heck!)


***Revvell, thank you for your support. Doug is on a high Cal/Mag/Zinc dosage for now per our naturopath. The liver flush comes this fall.

Ahhh, Janine's back!!!! *waves muchly to her*. We "should" have some pics up soon from our visit to Cafe Gratitude. It was just a wonder-filled experience. I'm on my way back down to SoCal early this a.m. Bo will post when he returns.

I think the Coconut Caramel cookies are awesome! Might give the carrot cake a shot since you recommend it so highly.

Glad to hear Doug is taking his first steps! Good for him! I'm starting the liver/gallbladder flush today, then going on a (I think ~ depending on how my system responds) a watermelon juice/fruit program.

Good "seeing" you again. How's the house coming? (sorry to hijack.) :rolleyes:

The pictures look very good. I love tabouli, so this one is definitely going to get made. Thanks for posting.
