As I was just reading Webster Kehr's cancer survival story:

it occurred to me that a very healthy way to eat for extended periods could be modeled somewhat loosely after Websters's approach. I'm sure experimentation and tweaking is necessary to get it to work optimally.
The basic idea is the same as Webster's in that eating whole food days are alternated with juice fasting days. A possible place to start experimenting could be to eat 2 or 3 (or more) days of whole raw foods containing plenty of fiber then have a juice fast day followed by more high fiber whole raw food days. This cycle of alternating some high fiber days with a juice fast day could be repeated and repeated. I think the advantages to this approach would be the detox benefit of the high fiber days combined with the high nutrients in the juice fasting days and at the same time be a more "doable" eating style over time. An alternate approach could be to eat the high fiber whole raw foods all week and then juice fast on the weekends. Has anyone here used an approach like this and if so how has it worked out for you ? I would be interested in hearing your thoughts and comments.
