so i've been water/juice fasting. (not juice feasting) i'm on my 9th day and i'm feeling really wiped out. today at work i was sitting and reading and when i stood up i felt really dizzy and my vision got blurry as if i was about to pass out. i felt fine before that. a little tired, but not bad. i also notice pain in my middle/lower back on both sides. maybe my kidneys? and pain under my ribs on my right front side. it's not a horrible pain but it's uncomfortable like tenderness or soreness. i dont feel it's time for me to end the fast. i feel i still need healing/cleansing. i've been mainly drinking fruit juices. should i be drinking more green juice? i think i might be low on iron. i dont really want to take supplements while fasting. if i juiced spinach would that help?

sounds like you're either not getting enough calories or your blood sugar is unstable from taking mostly fruit juice. if you don't decide to drink more juice, at least definitely start juicing vegetables (especially celery) and lots of dark leafy greens with the fruit.
your blood pressure is also going to be low while fasting, so make sure you stand up slowly.

its a really good source of organic sodium, lots of other minerals too. its also really hydrating; i started thinking after i replied that you could also not be getting enough liquids.
a friend of mine did the master cleanse last year for 21 days. she met david wolfe mid-cleanse and asked what he thought of it and he said if he were going to add one thing to it it would be celery juice.
if you don't like the taste, fruit would probably disguise it pretty well.

ok great. i can tolerate celery if i add apple to it. i will try that. i've been drinking at least a gallon of water a day but i think i should drink more juices. i've been drinking 24-48 oz. of juice a day.

Drink more water! It's your kidneys if your lower back is bothering you.
You're healing something...it's a good thing. It's detox, rest, give yourself lots of breathing room, pamper your body, meditate and drink more water.
