I often put off recipes that require soaking nuts to a later time like I'll soak the nuts in the evening for the moring, but often forget before going to bed. Other times I say I'll soak them in the morning so I can make the recipe before going to bed, and of course the morning I forget, so when I want to make a recipe that requires soaking nuts, I always end up doing it days or sometimes weeks later.

Would it be possible to soak nuts like almonds in the fridge and leave them there 2-3 days so when I want to make a recipe, I don't have to wait and forget for days before actually making it.

Thanks

I always soak nuts in the fridge - I will change the water morning and night if I don't end up making the recipe right away. I haven't kept them in the fridge longer than 2-3 days though. The same thing would happen to me too - would plan on making a recipe and forget to soak/sprout something!
