I am not sure if I am posting this in the right section, sorry if it's not.

I am new to the raw food world, I spent the last few months getting prepared, researching and buying the necessaties and such to be successful and have been fully raw for about 5 days now.

I bought some Larabars to have in my lunch a few times a week to help with the transition but I didn't expect the fat content and carbs to be so high? I know that alot of it is 'good for you' but not sure if eating these often is a good idea. Does anyone eat them? I am hoping to get my weight down while being raw and wondering if this could hinder more than help.

I have to add they are terribly Yummy! I am eating the cinnamon one right now and just wow, I was not expecting them to taste so good ;)

Thanks for the links Shell, they were quite helpful.

Looks like I could make these myself quite easily and monitor more of what goes into them and less cost too. :)

I always keep one in my purse for emergencies, but don't eat them that often. I find that they make me really hungry about an hour after I eat them. But they're a good thing to have on hand for those times when you're stuck out in the world with no other raw options.

That is a good idea. When we are out an about I am always needing a drink or snack.

Alot of those links above I read are saying they may not be truely 100% raw. The type I purchased said 100% raw, some were 90% but only I bought the kinds that claimed to be 100%.

Anyone know where can I get a full list of ingredients/preparation method? Or do I have to write the company for that? I bought 2 cases so I am curious if I am truly eating what was advertised?
