Has anybody used their Champion juicer for making wheatgrass juice? If so, what were the results? Thanks.

I haven't used Champion for wheatgrass, but have used it for a lot of greens, which I push through with something else (like carrot or apple). I think it would work like that for wheatgrass, but probably you can't juice the grass alone. I think the manual wheatgrass juicers work pretty well, though, and are not expensive. Seems like someone here posted that, awhile back.

From what I understand, the Champion juicer has the wrong kind of auger for juicing wheatgrass. It's capable of juicing wheatgrass, but it will oxidize it reducing its nutritive value. Wheatena makes good wheatgrass juicer, but they are pricy. I got an excellent deal on one on ebay.

Good luck.
