Hi All!...I'm just curious if anyone else feels this way.., while I enjoy foods made with nuts that are sweet, I'm having trouble with the savory nut dishes....soups and even some hummus I made, that taste delicious....I just can't eat much of, and when I think about them the next day, I don't really want them...just the thought gives me a bit of a tummy ache.....just wondering about this.............

Hi deberaw!
I have the same problem with concentrated nuts/seeds. I had a hard time a few days ago with a "falafel" sandwich with flaxseed "bread" and it felt like a brick in my stomach. After eating it (2 days in a row), it was so heavy, that even though it is delicious I'm not sure I want one again for awhile. So, I've decided to use dehydrated and concentrated nut type recipes in light moderation. It sounds like we have the same issue.

I had this a while ago. I think this is your body telling you what it wants and needs and part of your transition to high raw. I've been eating a lot more simple foods and feel so much better now.

When I first went raw, I could eat a lot of very heavy dishes and feel fine. Way better than with any cooked foods, but I have noticed this as well. The longer I'm raw the less I enjoy them. I think that is just refinement. I do better with light, fresh raw. I think you are wise to limit it.
