Hi...

I was wondering does anyone consume this? I have been eating it, It really has no taste at all 2 me anyway... But I want to consume it for its blood cleaning properties... How do you all consume it? I have been cutting up small slices of it like Ginger and tossin in a smoothie, But I wonder, since its so bland, as opposed to ginger... Im guessing I could add more into the smoothie?

There's some interesting info in the "Traditional medicine" section about half way down the page:

I think I'll get some and try juicing it with carrots.

Cool...

Anyone eat it whole? If so how much do you use? I blend it with a smoothie, but I wonder if I can be adding more? Do you use the whole root when eating whole? As opposed to juicing which would use it all.

I eat burdock root, too. I recently did the master cleanse, and I didn't want my burdock root to go bad while I wasn't eating, so I sliced it up, dehydrated it and then powdered it in the coffee grinder. I'll be adding it to my smoothies now.

Rawsome... So how much do you add to a smoothie?

I think I'll use about a spoonful. I plan on putting it in tomorrow's smoothie.
