There is one nut that does not need to be soaked because it does not have enzyme inhibitors. Right now I cannot find the source where I read about that. I need to know which nut that is. Does anyone have that info handy? If so, would you please post that information. I am looking for the name of the nut and the source which states that it does not need to be soaked. Thanks!

I think pine nuts... but don't quote me on that.

i don't remember where i read this (sorry) but it was pretty much any nut that did not have some sort of skin on it. like almonds, walnuts, pecans, etc have skins on them, but the ones that don't such as cashews, don't need to be soaked. unless the recipe calls for it. possible as previously mentioned pine nuts, but i can't be too sure about that one. (i don't really use these, so i don't know). honestly there's a great possibility that i read that here somewhere, just try doing a serach for nut soaking. good luck
