This is a recipe my husband and I came up with, and I was amazed at how much he loved it! It's really good.

2 large navel oranges
1 handful spinach
1 handful parsley
1/2 bag of frozen cherries
1 banana
1 squirt of agave (if desired)

Blend til smooth in Vita-Mix.

Notes: I think it didn't need quite so many cherries...you could conserve them by using only 1/3 of a bag (these are the small Cascadian Farms bags of frozen cherries). Also, I would add some ice or cold water to thin it a bit more, but that all depends on how much juice is in the oranges. It was a great smoothie, a lovely dark red color. My husband's favorite so far.:p

I just made the same smoothie, only I substituted peaches for the cherries. Also one of the oranges was a blood orange. Wow, was that good. I have GOT to get some more blood oranges. It was delicious! Today was my first day 100% raw (well, except for my salad dressing...I need to make some raw dressing) and after drinking these smoothies, I can't think of anything else I would rather have had.
