(Our Wal-Mart currently offers a small section of organic food, but any increase or improvement would be very welcome!)

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (Reuters) Wal-Mart Stores (WMT) said Friday it needs to clean up its stores, treat employees well and bring in more upscale goods like organic food and trendy clothes to revive sales and profit growth.

LOL ,I can deal with Target ,NOT walmart ....Its just TOO annoying ,even the isles are so close and awkardlhy shaped ,also walmart puts much more pressure on companies to send work to china , with bad working conditions ....

Well, I thought some people might have found the organic food part interesting. My apologies.

Autumn, you're so quick witted I was sure you'd understand I was kidding. [Walmart is just so eeeasy to make fun of ;)] I'm sorry it fell flat. I wasn't making fun of you. I think carrying organic produce would be a wonderful step in the right direction.

oh no autumn , Im glad you told us about it (it IS easy to make fun of wal mart ,and its easy to get caught up in the walmonster hysteria ) The GOOD thing is that there are many people who will benefit from the organic section , They seem to be trying to improve their image !!!
My parents still shop at wal mart (is it the mall of the south or what???) and maybe theyll pick me up some reasonably priced organic produce
