My local grocery store only has small half pound boxes of organic spinach and is almost always out, but large pound boxes of field greens salad mix which is often available.
The salad mix contains, and get ready, it's a lot of stuff:
Organic baby lettuces (red romaine, green oak, red oak, green leaf, lolla rossa, red leaf, new red fire, little gem, tango, green romaine), organic baby greens (mizuna, tat soi, spinach, red chard, green chard, red mustard, arugula, beet tops), organic chicories (radicchio, frisee). Ingredients may vary.
Does this have as much, less or more benefits for the same amount in weight as baby spinach? I didn't like these salad mixes but now that I have a Green Star I add quite a bit of these leaves to my vegetable juices. Is there a limit to how much I should put in a juice? I normally use carrot as the base (main ingredient) for my vegetable juices.
Thanks
