That would depend on the type of juicer you have. IF you have a regular centrifical type or a Champion, you "should" drink the juice as soon as juicing. IF you wish to not do that, then at the VERY least, by the end of the day.
The Green Star, Green Power and others which have the magnets are good for up to about 3 days, depending on the juice. IF you are juicing greens, they need to be drunk asap.

what is the diference between the types of juicers? I mean: why would a magnet make a 3 day difference in the life of juice? I've never heard anything about that before...

I have always heard from every raw chef that I have met that you make the juice then drink it.
I have never put it in the fridge, and had it taste good.
I do know that some juices oxidize quicker than others, like carrot juice for one.
Although the Green star, or green power or whatever they are calling thier juicers today, do have a magnet inside of them, that is supposed to hault the oxidizing of the juice.
But again, I wouldn't wait, I'd drink them right away.
I have on occasion, made orange juice or other citrus juices and had them a few hours later, but only about twice.

I read somewhere from www.thegardendiet.com that orange juice oxidizes within 20 minutes.

I don't understand how the magnet thing works, all I know is, it seems to. You might want to check the various sites and see what they claim
When I use to juice a lot, I checked out the difference between the Champion and my Green Life. The Champion spins faster and tends to heat up whereas the Green Life, which has the magnets (as does the Green Power and a few others), has the double do-dads and is able to juice greens and such w/out causing as much oxidation. Previously, I "have" kept juices for 3 days. Now, since I only juice with my lil hand-held, I juice enough for one or two cups only and drink immediately. Mostly I drink blended juices i.e. smoothies.
For o.j. we use a Citri-Star and drink it immediately or use as a smoothie base.

I know for cabbage juice, it needs to be drunk immediately. About 12 years ago, when we first started getting into juicing, we'd make a ton of fruit and veggie juices and keep them for a couple of days and then do it again. I'd take the fruit and veggie juice to the office with me at that time. But if you are going to be home, I'd suggest drinking it right away. Better yet, blend your juices whole so you can get all the fiber with it, unless you are fasting or something.

Because, I cannot feasibly juice while at work..... So, what is a gal to do? Just skip the juice? Isn't some better than none?

I think so. Can you keep it refrigerated or in a thermos?
Actually, the whole fruit/veggie is much better than the juice yet, if you feel to juice...

Are you saying, a blended juice will work better than a juiced juice, as far as nutrients staying in tact?
I brought the boutenko green drink w/me to work today. Shared it w/one co-worker who is more open to fresh foods, and she really liked it....
I can't wait to bring nori rolls, since both she and I a sushi/crack addicts!!!

Not necessarily yet, you do get the benefits of fiber.
