Hmmm...well, the only items I've seen used as "butter" were frozen cubes of olive oil blended with sea salt (I believe this is in Juliano's book), coconut oil and avocado.

Perhaps blending garlic or garlic powder with avocado might be the better choice along with a dash or two of sea salt. Maybe even blend in (using blender or processor) some pine nuts as well. Just thinking off the top of my head here!

Rawlinlocs you are awesome! I think I read some where in a thread that you have not been a 100% raw for years on end. That you have at times been on and off to different degrees. Well I am always amazed at the information you have. It is like you were born raw! I now look for your entries because I know there will be some nugget of info I need now or in the future as I make my journey. Blessing to you and yours!

Hi,

I make butter and garlic butter

they both use olive oil and macademia nuts with sea salt, for garlic butter, just add fresh crushed garlic, that has been dehydrated to soft, it is heavenly.
