See I eat alot of fruit from the morning - to the afternoon! Then in the afternoon - to supper I have some non sweet fruits, vegetables and a big salad! Then a few hours before bed I have a fruit snack (smoothie)!
When I eat the non sweet fruits, vegetables & salad it's hard to enjoy them without any salt or dressings! I'm craving alot of salt then! I'm trying to keep my fats below 15% because it helps me with my epilepsy and I feel alot better keeping my fats low when I exercise!
So would there be some better low fat suggestions for me? Thanks everyone in advance! Have a fruitful day!

have you tried dulse? its salty but not salt. or what about a dressing made of garlic, herbs and lemon juice?

You could dip them in raw salsa. That is the main non-fat dip that springs to mind.

Thanks you two for your advice! The only thing I'm also trying to stay low on onions and garlic because my family can't stant to talk to me because the smell lingers in my breath for days! Is there any ideas about this? Thanks

What's the problem with salt? And are you using celtic sea salt? If so, that's a life essential nutrient, not a poison like regular table salt. You only mentioned you need to keep your fat low, so I don't understand the issue with the salt.

I Know This Is Off The Subject. But What Does Epilepsy And Low Fat Correlate. My Son Has Seizure Disorder.

Joon4yu - Eating lots of fats decrease oxygen to the brain, I learned this from Dr. Douglas Graham! I found out by sticking to Dr. Douglas Graham's 80/10/10 raw diet, the better I do with my epilepsy! Before when I was eating alot of raw fats, I was having one inleast every month! Now I hardley have any and 99% of the time can control them! I keep improving all the time, it's took me a few years to get this far with my epilepsy, but I've made it this far! Now I'm just a step away from curing it!
Raweater - Yes, I do have celtic sea salt and I do use it, but is what I was wanting was something besides salt! Something to give it flavor and a salt taste with it! Kind of like the way salad dressings and dips do, except for me to make it in a raw non toxic form without alot of fat in it!

i have heard of dehydrating celery and then grinding into a salt, it's the highest or one of the highest forms of natural sodium. hope this helps

Eat more celery. at least 4 stalks a day will help with the natural sodium content in your body. I put 2 in my smoothie or juice and eat another 2 with almond butter and raisins for a snack. (if fat is an issue, make some hummus or other veg based dip) It has stopped my muscle cramping and salt cravings without resorting to the dulse flakes. I use himalayan salt if I need any salt, but I find that the veggies taste pretty good on their own.
HTH :)

I have major salt cravings too. I find that lemon juice and herbs help. and as a bonus, fresh cilantro and parsley help eliminate the breath issue :)
