Hey everyone! I don't know if you guys missed me or not, but I sure missed raw food...I went astray for a while because I just really didn't know what vision I had for my life and the sort of health lifestyle I was going to commit to. Well I have decided to actually attempt this 30 day challenge because I am soon going to be 23 years old, and I want to get smart about my health. I want to be healthy for my husband (if I ever get married) I just think this is a good way to start off a new year of my life. I just wanted to say hi to everyone and say "i'm back!"

Welcome back! What a wonderful gift to give to yourself, especially at a young age. When you're an old lady like me :p, you'll thank yourself! :D Congrats on your new committment to raw!

HI I am just coming back myself. After being 100% raw for 6 months I went astray for about 3 or 4 months. I was able to begin the healing process for many of the health challenges I have suffered from and able to get off of lifetime medications I was told I could never stop taking. I went astray for many reasons and found myself eating some cooked to compensate for the situations I encountered. Everytime I ate cooked I felt like I had a huge ball of cotton in my head and could barely function. I hated that. Next day I'd eat all raw and find myself detoxing harshly. So I was kinda in this food prison. Eventually the cooked won out due to the cravings and lack of willpower so I kept trying to get back to it but it was really difficult. I finally came to a point where I needed to stop messing around due to my health and so here I am day 4 and going strong. I do have a detox headache. No doubt about it. So i am nursing a big glass of fresh squeezed OJ. Well take care and goodluck. I think coming here everyday really helps and if you have trouble I know that the people here are very helpful and gracious. I find that most raw foodists are.
