I am officially a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and have passed with honors! I am so excited! :D



I am starting a nutrition consulting business and need your help in naming it. I was thinking Gesundheit Nutrition Consulting since I come from a German background and my family loves it. However, non-german speaking people (aka. mostly everyone else in North America, think that gesundheit means 'bless you' since it's what you say when people sneeze. It actually means 'Health' in German.

I was also thinking 'To Live For - Nutrition Consulting.' I think that ones a cute name too.


What do you think??

I like the German one... but it might be harder to look up and find. Sorry I can't think of something to suggest. I'm bogged down with so much work that my creativity has taken a slight dive.

I will definitely be suggesting Raw and Living Foods to each and every one of my potential clients so that was why I was thinking 'To Live for' :D
I just really like Gesundheit because it's German.. but then again the different language might steer people away? I don't know.

Even if people do think Gesundheit means bless you, that's still a great name, who wouldn't want to have blessed nutrition consultations? However, if I saw that name I would think that your services were allergy focused, because I do think of sneezing when I hear gesundheit.

By the way - congratulations! Where did you get certified?

Divaintheraw - I got certified through the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition which is also where I learned about the raw food diet right before seeing Alissa on the Tyra Bank's show. Isn't it great how life works!

I think i will go for To Live For. My sister is a graphic designer so I'm going to ask her to come up with logos and see what she creates! :D

to be honest... i don't like either one. they don't flow off your tongue. both are awkward to say. esp the german one. i can't imagine answering the phone "Gesundheit Nutrition Consulting" LOL sorry but i can't.

and to live for... it sounds like it wasn't well thought out. you need to create a long lasting name for yourself that people will think of YOU when they hear it.

so think about you and your personality and then allow a name to come to you. perhaps in meditation or during a quiet time in the bath...

and when you think of the name... think of any other 'meanings' the name may have. for example if you decided on flow nutritional counselling... be aware that people may think it's for women with menstraul problems.

Of course you chose something like 'Inspirational Nutritional Counselling" it may sound spiritual in nature. etc.

Naming your business if the second most important thing you will ever do! The other is location, location, location.

anyway, how about Real Life Nutrition Consulting. You are living your life girl. You are flying all over the world, eating raw, teaching others to eat raw and truly experiencing everything in your world. The word "life" and the world "real" is YOU.

i did the numerology on this name and it's very good. you will promise a LOT to your clients and deliver even more! there will a spiritual aspect to your business... a very balanced approached and the changes people will make with your assistance will be huge! the changes they make will be life long. very very good numbers. if i could choose numbers for you to have... for your business, this would be them!

Yeah I researched Pacific.. and it seems there is already a Pacific Nutrition! Dang it! Then again it's a US company. I wonder if I could get that name considering I'm in Canada. Hmm.
Me thinks this is going to take longer than I thought to come up with a name! lol
