YOUR FEELINGS??? I had a very peaceful, restorative day planned and then my morning got me all out of whack. (see my journal for more info  ). I am FUMING right now and I can't seem to get past it. I am practically imobile due to my anger. I'm *trying* to get some housework done, but I just can't seem to focus long enough. I've got 3 recipes 1/2 done in the kitchen and some dishes...that's IT and it's 11 AM!!!

So how do you learn to IGNORE people who WILL NOT change and continue to treat you in the same manner. I mean, I know I can't change them, so I will have to change me...right?

Anger is what you feel when you think that you are entitled to something and you do not get your way.
What you have to change is that feeling of entitlement. What makes you think that you deserve to have your way if someone else feels differently. Everyone experiences the world differently and so thinks and feels differently. There is no right and wrong. There is your perception of what is right and wrong.
Whoever upset you was viewing the world from a different perspective and did not base their actions on your values but on their own. Feel sorry for them that they can not see the world as you do.
