and the occasional sliced fruit or mint chocolate fudge if a craving strikes, but my meals with be green smoothies, delicious, easy, nutritious green smoothies- at least until I have the willpower to stick to raw for a while- I think this is the easiest way for me, plus the smoothies really cut my cravings down.

If that works for you, I think it's a good plan.
Just a warning though (I'm no expert but it's just something that occurs to me), don't think that smoothies are The Way, i.e. I think they make a great addition to the diet but to have them as your sole form of food will mean that you'll have to make sure you are putting in a wide variety of fruit and greens and you'll need to think outside of the box, like perhaps you can do savoury green smoothies (doesn't appeal to me but I've heard of some people doing it).
My point is, don't think that just because something is technically a green smoothie it is enough to live on, you need variety also in your green smoothie, so think superfoods, flax seeds, coconut oils, all different leafy greens, huge variety of fruits, etc...
That's my 2c.

Consider this ~ bones need pressure to stay strong. Green smoothies and fruit alone wont give them this. You need to chew something hard to give your jaw bones strength or you'll be finding your gums receding and your teeth falling out.

Just a thought.

I assume you mean for an extended period of time for a cleansing affect? In which case, good for you! May I suggest adding small amounts of powdered kale to them? Start with very small amounts, like just half a teaspoon, and work up to as much as your taste buds can bear to really add some extra minerals to buffer any detoxing stress on the body.
Enjoy your green smoothie adventure! Let us know how it goes.:)

I'm still planning on eating solid foods- so I'll still chew.
And I already add superfoods, a mix of greens and fruits and fats, so I'm good with that.
This is more so to get me through my "danger zone" when I first really go raw.

But what about those of us who are doing the Master Cleanse? How long is it safe for us to do this as far as our teeth and gums are concerned? I was hoping to go as long as 40 days - now I'm not sure if I can last that long, or if it is wise?

sounds like a good plan. anything to get you through that hump and into eating RAW. if it works & doesn't harm you, go for it. please report back about your results. ;)

Sounds good. My one piece of advice would be to keep something heavier on hand just in case. Sometimes when I juice or go all green smoothies, I feel fine and then a massive craving for something dense hits me out of nowhere. If I have heavier food around, then I'm fine, but if I don't, yikes! Although maybe if you're careful to keep enough fat in the smoothies, that won't happen with you.
