I believe they are raw if under the ingredients the only ingredient is "Raw Walnuts." Nothing else....

anyway, if that doesnt work, use advanced search to search for threads started by kaybee (me) and its the one that says something like seems like raw foods getting harder to find....

scroll down especially to veganman's post and he talks about most nuts. if you want really raw almonds, i think he sells them at rawfromthefarm, and you can also get them (though i dont think theyre organic) through www.almonds-from-california.com. i specifically asked the almonds from california people how they were processed and they said they pick em and pack em; doesnt sound like theyre dried, except maybe in -shell on the ground before they re picked. you could email them to check, theyre pretty good about gettting back to you quickly; but i think rawfromthe farm (veganman) has organic ones.

Can I just say that I love my walnuts and they are 100% raw because they drop from my friends tree, I pick them up, crack and eat. We have 4 black walnut trees with in two blocks of my home and all the walnuts go to waste. The two ladies that I get my walnuts from love having me come and pick them up so they don't have too. Yeah, it's alot of work to crack them and I have it down to a science on the quickest and most efficient way but when we sit down to watch a movie we crack walnuts while we do it or on a nice evening, I sit outside and crack them and before I know it the neighbor comes out and visits with me or my children will come and visit. Yep.....I love my walnuts. I store them in boxes out in our garage and I have walnuts all year round.
