I don't have any experience with hemp protein myself, but this FRIEND of mine ;-) no actually, a friend of mine is a TCM practitioner (traditional chinese medicine) and he says it's really, really good for you. He eats the hemp protein everyday in smoothies and raw soups. So that's all I know about it so far!

I bought some thinking I would add it to the kids smoothies, well it kinda makes them taste and look like dirt. It is ok in the green smoothie/drink but they won't touch it in a regular one.

So how does hemp seed taste? Can anybody put it into words? They are quite expensive, so I have never bought any.
Even this post hasn't helped, lol. One post says it's delicious ...

another one says, it's not that great ....

I just would like a couple more opinions, on how you like hemp seed. Does it have a strong flavor or is it more on the mild side?
