Hi, could one just eat cacao butter by itself, as Ive seen 100gram bars being sold, I thought it would be a good idea to eat it like a chocolate bar or something.
And secondly, whats healthier, raw cacao beans or the butter ? or is it the same ?

It is just a fat and should be combined with other ingredients. The cacao bean has the full nutrition and can be eaten any way you want.

Ok, thanks.
But i meant replacing it instead of like eating marshmallows, psychologically to move onto something healthier than mashmallows to get me off them, I could use this instead?
Edit : so the cacao bean have the nutrition of the cacao butter aswell ? So cacao beans are better for nutitional value ?

The cacao bean has a lot more nutrition than the cacao butter.

In addition to having much more nutrition than the cacao butter, the cacao nibs also have a lot more flavor.
If you do go for the cacao butter, you would have to gently melt it over low heat, stir in some sweetener and then let it harden for eating it. Plain, it is bland and has a waxy texture.
