I think they run about $119-ish But I've seen them for less (that's the MSRP)
Back to your question, Beppa, I don't know if they work to make oatmeal. Do you have any other information about them? I could not find a review ANYwhere online!

By the way, Beppa66, sorry to hijac your thread. In response to your question, I have not used one of those devices, but I do know that professional oatmeal is usually made from steamed whole oats that have been rolled. I don't know if this machine will work with raw oats, as they may be too tough. You should try to find the instruction manual online or something. Also, by putting your grains through this machine, you won't be able to sprout them before eating them. You will only be able to soak them, which isn't quite so good for you, but still worth it if you really love the texture of oatmeal.

...one of our moderators, Rawkinlocs, has talked about using a cereal or oat flaker to make oatmeal cookies....I wonder if it is the same one....it looks appealing to me, for those times when one wants raw rolled oatmeal.....my kids love oatmeal....it might be worthwhile for us....I also want to try soaking/dehydrating/grinding oat groats to make a powder...then a porridge maybe?....hmmmmmmmmmmm.....

I own the Marga Mulino by Marcata and paid like $24 for it BUT...that was from a place that was discontinuing them and they no longer have them :( But mine does flake grains.
